A self-taught baker & native of the Philly 'burbs, I set out to pay homage to the sublimely chewy & uniquely flavorful pretzels of my childhood, with my own twist ... I developed my own recipe & took the original Philly 'paperclip' pretzel shape, rounded it out and made it FAT … this is the “Philly Phatty”! One taste & ya get it!

I am super proud of the ingredients I use, including the flour. The farmers who grow the wheat implement no-till, regenerative practices; the flour is Food Alliance Certified, Salmon Safe Certified & Non-GMO Project Verified. You can scan each bag of flour and it will tell you exactly which farm it came from! Quality is our ethos - at every touchpoint.

what's in a name?

'Love Park' in Philadelphia is home to the iconic 'L-O-V-E' sculpture by artist Robert Indiana.

Seeking a name uniquely 'Philadelphia' we chose 'Love Park Pretzels' to capture the heart of Philly & our love for Philly’s favorite snack: pretzels. Officially dubbed JFK Plaza, colloquially, Philadelphians refer to where this famous sculpture lives as 'Love Park' … hence, the inspiration for our name!
