Where is Love Park Philadelphia?
Philly Icon Alert: Just a few steps from City Hall, in John F. Kennedy Plaza, sits one of the city’s most famous spots: the LOVE Statue.
Originally installed in 1976 for the U.S. Bicentennial, this Robert Indiana masterpiece has become the spot for locals, tourists and anyone who wants that perfect “Philly" moment.
Fun fact: the statue was fully restored, repainted and put back in its original spot in 2018 when LOVE Park got its glow-up.
Seeking a name uniquely 'Philadelphia' we chose 'Love Park Pretzels' to capture the heart of Philly and our love for Philly’s favorite snack: pretzels. Officially dubbed John F. Kennedy Plaza, colloquially, Philadelphians refer to where this famous sculpture lives as "Love Park" … hence, the inspiration for our name!
